Runes or ruins, legends of the fall or of the rise, war or peace, the annals history are exhaustive. History repeats itself. It is exactly why we need to keep our present in perspective with the past, as there are lessons to be drawn from them. The phases of history narrate to us the progress and decline of humanity. History has three types i.e. Ancient, Medieval, Modern. History can be studied under topic heads such as; History of Architecture, History of Art, History of Economics and Social Development to mention a few.
